We were warmly welcomed by the very friendly staff. The rooms and facility were clean, and breakfast had good options. For the price, it's great value, and I'd definitely stay again.

The staff were very nice, and breakfast was good. But I slept on the sofa bed so the kids could have the bed, and pet hair was everywhere. I woke up itching all over and sneezing. I knew the hotel allowed pets, but with my allergies, I don't have pets and don't want to be put in a pet room in this condition. They charge a $100 pet fee, so why wasn't the extra cleaning done? Please don't assign pet rooms to guests without pets unless they're cleaned properly. I won't stay here again after this.

A quiet, clean hotel in a nice location, with friendly staff, decent breakfast, and nice rooms. It was the Residence Inn experience I expected.

The little kitchenette in our room was a favorite. It was fully stocked with the amenities we needed and made the stay more comfortable. The location was great too, close to restaurants and shopping. The Residence Inn by Marriott in Markham felt very clean and welcoming, and everyone from the front desk to housekeeping was professional, friendly, and helpful. We had a wonderful stay, and I'd highly recommend it for a comfortable, convenient visit to Markham.

We contacted hotel management by email about the noise, but they ignored us. The room and pool were nice, yet highway noise made it hard to sleep, and the bed set alarm went off at 6 am. It was a horribly short night. If you want a peaceful night's sleep, avoid this hotel at all costs.
