Eagle Reach - A West Coast Cottage

We loved the view and the nature hikes to Botanical and Mystic Beach, and wished we'd had a few more days. Eagle Reach felt new, clean, and like home. Being able to bring our pets was a huge bonus since it's hard to find a nice place that allows them. We were in Port Renfrew for a couple of days to celebrate Valentine's Day, and also enjoyed a cute little cafe within walking distance with the friendliest staff, plus a pub up the road with amazing food and a great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back soon!

We were enjoying ourselves so much in Port Renfrew, a perfect place to relax and feel grounded, that we extended our stay. Heather arranged it right away. From our first contact she was responsive, clear, and accommodating with our schedule and requests. She sent instructions in advance, which makes sense for a remote getaway, so travellers should research the area before coming. Everything was spotless, and the available appliances were really helpful. Great place, host, and vibe. We'll be back!

The cottage had almost everything you could want and was a pleasure to stay in. It looked wonderful and luxurious at first, with stunning views, and it was clean despite what I'd read in other reviews. A few little things clearly needed maintenance, but otherwise I really enjoyed my time there.

The bay views were great from this welcoming flat, and it was nice that our little dog was allowed. The north-facing balcony didn't get direct sun in October, but being able to charge our EV was fantastic. We were short on plates and chairs, and both the BBQ gas and SodaStream CO2 were empty. We made other plans for the barbecue, but never got a replacement CO2 cartridge. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice, though I couldn't figure out how to turn off the main bathroom fan. Wi-Fi was quite unstable when streaming a movie from my laptop, but otherwise fine. We'd gladly return, knowing what to prepare for.
