A fabulous spot for a restful holiday. We received excellent attention and service throughout our stay.

Our Georgia Suite at the Buena Vista Resort Motel in Qualicum Beach was cosy, clean, and well equipped. The queen bed was comfortable, and having a couch, kitchenette, and private deck with a table and chairs made it feel like home. We enjoyed the idea of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening out there. The motel is just steps from the beach, with an unbeatable location for relaxing by the water. Qualicum Beach is a charming little town, and it was easy to explore and then return to a peaceful retreat. It seems comfortable for a visit in any season. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend it for a quiet ocean getaway.

The rooms feel tired and a bit depressing, so even though we booked because of the kitchen, I’d spend another $50 a night for somewhere much nicer. The view is lovely and there’s a large shared outdoor area, but the overpowering fish smell made it hard to imagine sitting outside. We arrived at low tide and thought the smell might be about the time of day, but when we checked out the air still reeked. Seems like it comes from the location.
