The biggest problem was the noise from the mechanical units on the roof above the two-bedroom suite. My friend in the second bedroom was kept awake much of the night and eventually moved to the pull-out couch in the living room, where it was quieter but still noisy. I was in the main bedroom and took a while to fall asleep, though I managed to sleep through. We switched rooms the second night, and I only lasted a short time in the second bedroom before moving to the couch too. That room was also warm, with no A/C and no window. Neither bedroom has a window, but the main one does have good A/C and heat. After the first night, we politely asked the front desk if there was another two-bedroom suite we could move to. The staff member was kind and explained there was only one suite, confirmed the units were above it, and said she’d leave a note for the manager. Nobody got back to us for the rest of our stay. We won’t return. We don’t want to pay $600 a night for a two-bedroom when we can only use one bedroom and the couch, especially with no follow-up from the hotel. I can imagine most rooms are very nice, as long as they’re away from those roof units and the kitchen area another guest mentioned. The suite itself was recently updated, with a nice little kitchen, comfortable beds, linens, and pillows, plus a lovely gas fireplace that made the room feel cozy. There’s also a good beach view, though a roof and parking lot sit between you and it, as other reviews mention. We didn’t mind that, and the location was handy for walks by the water or into town.
