The Salish Sea is right across the road, and there’s a grocery store close by, so the location worked really well for us. Our cabin was cozy, the two beds were comfortable, and the seasonal bedding kept us warm. Everything was spotless, including the bathroom and fully stocked kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the peacocks were a lovely little surprise. We had a memorable stay for a great price.

We felt completely ripped off, and this resort fell far short of its website ratings. On Sept 9 & 10, 2025, we were booked into Cottage #5. We stayed the night of the 9th, but didn’t come back for the 10th because of the awful condition of the place. There was black mold in every corner and along the rails of the shower stall, thick scale on the shower door, and insects, hairballs, and food scraps under and behind the living room sofa. The attached pictures show it. There was also food smeared on the bedroom door, one smoke alarm was missing, and the fire extinguisher outside the entrance didn’t work. The restaurant, Henry’s, was an abandoned eyesore. Someone at the reception office got the cleaner to deal with these problems quickly, but it still makes you wonder how they were there at all when the cottage had apparently been renovated just 2 years earlier. This resort is a disgrace.

The ice cream stand nearby was a favorite with both the kids and adults. We also had a great weekend enjoying tide sports by the water. We booked the 111 group site, where having water and power hookups right at our spot made things much easier and more comfortable for a big group. The campground was clean, thoughtfully arranged, and in great shape, thanks to the owner. Michelle at the front desk was really friendly and helpful. Everything was convenient, and we had a wonderful time.

The beach is just across the road, with plenty to do there, from walking and bird watching to gathering shellfish for your own meals. The individual sites are a good size, spaced apart, and tucked away from one another. I liked the comfortable grass ground better than gravel. The owner was professional and enthusiastic, and the facilities were well equipped. Showers cost one Canadian dollar for four minutes. I found this lovely campsite through a friend and would definitely come back. It’s a good choice if you want a holiday spot with both activity and quiet. Highly recommend it.

The only thing that made this place worthwhile was the beautiful beach across the street. The rest was a mess. Bathrooms were disgusting, and dog poo and garbage were scattered around the ground. The swim pond was full of mosquito larvae and algae, with a sign saying the ministry of health had shut it down. The water slide broke after the first day, and none of the amenities worked. My children were very unhappy with a park that felt more dangerous than fun. It seemed like no money was being put into maintenance. This was nowhere near the “resort” they advertise. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
