Auberge Place d'Armes

We spent a week in The Loft Room for a girls’ trip combined with an art class, and it was an amazing stay. There was lots of space for the week, so we could spread out our art supplies and easily come and go to classes. The hotel was quiet and close to everything we needed. Charles, our concierge, took wonderful care of us and helped make the visit memorable. The loft windows looked out over the Christmas Markets and the Chateau Frontenac, a magical view that was truly inspiring for us as artists. Thanks again, Charles, for all your help!

The rooms are charming, quaint and really quiet, and the old architecture gives the place a cool vibe. Charles was a delight to talk with. He helped us to our room and quickly explained how the electronic key worked. I’d highly recommend staying here in Old Quebec!

The hotel was clean, the courtyard view was lovely, and we were close to everything. We also ate well at the hotel restaurant, where the staff were friendly. Charles Corsiez made our trip especially memorable. He looked after us from our first day, suggested great restaurants, and even drove us to the Jazz club. We had an amazing visit and hope to see Charles again when we come back.

Auberge Place d'Armes put us right in the middle of Old Quebec, with Carnival week activities, shops, sights, and restaurants all within walking distance. Charles and Chris from the restaurant were both helpful when we asked for dining suggestions. Charles greeted us almost as soon as we arrived, took our luggage, and showed us to the underground parking. His warmth and friendly manner really made the stay special.
