DoubleTree by Hilton Quebec Resort

The staff were friendly and the service was good, but I wouldn’t recommend this location for a relaxing, hassle-free stay. The TV wasn’t a proper smart TV, and it didn’t work at all. The room phone was out of service the whole time, so getting anything meant going all the way down to reception. They really need to upgrade both.

Gary from Bonvoyage Snow Adventures suggested we stay here on our way north to La Malbaie for our guided snowmobile tour, and he was spot on. We spent one night and enjoyed it. There’s easy highway access, plenty of parking for snowmobile trailers, and the excellent Le Dijon restaurant on site. The rooms were clean and spacious. I’d recommend it to people making a similar trip.

We had a really relaxing week at DoubleTree and I’d book it again on my next trip to Quebec. The rooms were clean and new, and the service, spa, and sauna made the stay worth it. It wasn’t too crowded, apart from the pool, which isn’t very big. Best staycation resort in Quebec.

Carlos was outstanding. He moved a crib between rooms and replaced a broken lamp with a professional manner and a great attitude. That was a clear example of good service. We stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Quebec Resort from October 17-19, 2025, but the experience fell short of the Hilton standard we expect. Our first room had lots of ladybugs on the curtains and windows. The front desk said it was ladybug season and normal, and treated our concern casually. They changed the room only after we specifically asked. The second room had the same issue, though less of it. The broken lamp was replaced promptly, but it added to the impression that rooms might not be checked properly before guests arrive. The front desk interaction was the most disappointing part. During our first conversation, Facebook was open on a staff monitor behind the desk, which gave a poor impression of how our concern was being received. At checkout, nobody asked about our stay. We were told the system was down and that they’d check us out later. I hope this feedback helps improve housekeeping and front desk attentiveness. I’d welcome the chance to discuss the experience further with management.
