Holiday Inn Express Quebec City - Sainte Foy by IHG

We spent three nights here, and the poor hygiene made the stay really unpleasant. Our room was never cleaned, so we had to ask for fresh towels ourselves. On the first floor, we saw spiders in the hallway, in rooms, and even on beds. That was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable. With housekeeping and cleanliness this bad, I wouldn't recommend the hotel or return.

The room was bright and clean, with very comfortable beds, and the construction noise outside never came through into the room despite all the detours. The staff were kind, and my father especially enjoyed the large breakfast that was included.

The rooms were spacious and laid out well, with an entryway, large bathroom, desk, cupboard, fridge, and microwave. The AC worked well, the beds were super comfortable, and the staff were really friendly. The hotel felt clean and new. Outside there was a big hot tub with patio lights and flowers, and breakfast was really good. There was major road construction around the place, but we couldn't hear it indoors. Honestly, I'd stay here again.

We spent five days here in Quebec City with our family and two dogs, and I’d happily book it again. Bringing both dogs cost just $30 total for the whole stay. Our king suite with a kitchenette was roomy and clean, and the bright, simple design was well kept. The lobby felt welcoming, the staff were friendly and efficient, and having breakfast each morning included was a nice extra.
