At Quai Renaud - 69 rue Sainte-Andre, the apartment itself is spacious, bright and well managed. But there’s an electrical room (Salle 'electrique) directly across the wall, and a constant buzzing sound carries through the apartment. The street is noisy too, with cars, motorcycles and tour buses throughout the day, especially Saturdays, when Old Quebec City draws weekend visitors. If noise bothers you, don’t rent this place.

The harbor view is spectacular, and the apartment is bright, spacious and equipped with all the utensils and appliances we needed. The location is perfect, with a bus stop right out front, about six blocks to the heart of Old Quebec and ten in the other direction to the train station. 10/10. The only drawback was climbing the stairs to the fourth floor, as the building has no elevator.

The accommodation was well organized and had everything we needed, and the location was perfect. But although we booked two beds, the sofa bed wasn’t made up and came with no instructions. There was no pillow for the second bed, and the decorative cushion cover was dirty. We wondered whether it had been washed.
