Hotel Le Vincent

Breakfast was really good, though the options were supposed to include a meat side and they didn't ask or serve it with my partner's meal. The front desk staff were very pleasant, and the room was clean and a lovely temperature, with a remote for the air conditioning. The foot cover at the end of the bed had some questionable stains, and our sheet had a big rip. We couldn't work out how to make the shower cooler, though that may have been us. Neither of our original keys opened the street entrance to the room, but thankfully we checked before going out and they replaced one of the two.

The location was amazing, close to everything and without paying for it. Breakfast was delicious, probably better than a lot of restaurants. The room was comfortable, but the materials are dated: old TV, media player, and hair dryer. Maintenance doesn't seem to be a priority. The shower knob and window knob were broken, and the shower fan was extremely loud and needs replacing. I wish they'd put more care into fixing things, ordering the part and replacing it instead of leaving it broken. Still, it's a great place to stay, and I'll definitely be back.

We had one of our best hotel stays here. The location near the Old City made it easy to find plenty of good places to eat, and our room was lovely. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming.

I’ve stayed in places ranging from five-star accommodation in Vietnam to what I’d call minus five stars in Rwanda, and after visiting more than 50 countries, I’ve never been treated this rudely. One of our two electronic keys didn’t work, the air conditioning was out, and the advertised breakfast wasn’t available. When I raised these problems, management acted as though they were my fault and said nobody had complained before. When I called to say we were leaving, I was told, “we don’t want guests like you. You must be too old”. I consider that rude and a violation of human rights in Canada. This was one of my worst experiences. Do not stay here.
