Motel Chevalier

We came into a cold room after being told there were “electrical problems.” They said an electrician was working on it but couldn't say when the power would be back. I'm pregnant and visiting from another province, and we needed somewhere warm to rest, so I asked for a refund to find another place. Instead, we waited 45 minutes in the cold before they finally said we could leave and they'd reimburse us. Because we booked through Airbnb, the refund may take up to 10 days. Do not book here.

Good Airbnb for the price. A ride by Uber or Lyft to Old Quebec City costs only about $15.

Our group was on a cycling trip, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful on our last night. They secured our bikes and helped us get downtown, which was a five-minute Uber ride. The rooms were very clean, we all slept well, and we enjoyed the well-maintained pool. I'd highly recommend the place and will stay here again when I return.

For the price, it was super clean and felt like good value. We felt safe and at home at this motel, unlike what some other reviews said. The polite woman at the desk was professional and fluent in both English and French. The pool was really clean and a nice way to cool down after a hot day. The motel has a nice feel, and our room had what we needed, including a clean bathroom and shower. Thank you, Motel Chevalier! :)
