Motel Giffard

Booked at the last minute and was honestly surprised by how nice it was. Check-in was quick, parking was right out front, and the room felt kind of cozy. Clean room, hot water, and the guy at the front desk was really helpful and sweet. Nothing fancy, but it did the job and was a solid deal. If you're exploring Quebec City and just need somewhere to sleep and shower, this works. I'd definitely stay again if I'm nearby!

The central location made it easy to get to local attractions, and the rooms felt like a clean, cozy home away from home. The hotel was immaculate, and I was greeted by a warm, welcoming atmosphere when I arrived. The management team was efficient, genuinely kind, and helpful throughout my stay. Whether you're traveling solo or with family, it's a lovely choice for a comfortable visit. I highly recommend it. I also took photos during my stay if you'd like a glimpse of the experience.

We paid about $80 a night including taxes, and it's a 10-minute trip to downtown. Our room was quite small, but for the price, you get what you pay for. The nearby restaurant, restaurant royal buffet, was a favorite, with huge portions at reasonable prices, just a four-minute drive away. The motel has new ownership and refurbished rooms. Ours had new floors, furniture, bathroom, and walls. There was a smell, maybe because the room had been shut up, but we had room spray and managed. The bathroom was spotless and came with towels, shampoo packets, and the usual supplies, which was great for a motel. The room had no power outlets, so the responsive, energetic receptionist brought us power strips. Five stars from me.

Cozy atmosphere, clean rooms, and friendly service. I'd absolutely recommend it!
