Alley made our family vacation comfortable, and we had a peaceful, relaxing time. The property is extremely clean and right by the lake. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoes, and each room has its own privacy. Guests can also use the large property's kitchen, games room, BBQ, firepit and laundry. The daily breakfast was excellent. We recommend staying here. Thank you, Alley and Chelston!

The rooms were cozy and comfortable, each with its own bathroom, and there’s a shared kitchen for quickly making something to eat. Chelston and Ally were both amazing hosts and helped make our first short vacation in two years so memorable. The lake is less than a minute away, with kayaks and paddleboats provided for guests, and the property has lots of character. We loved the amazing daily breakfast, too. It’s a great spot to relax, or to use as a base near Quebec City for other activities. We’ll be back soon. Make this your base for a lovely Quebec City stay. Merci Beaucoup !!!!

This little mansion is right by a beautiful lake, and there are canoes available free to take out and explore it. Some rooms have their own bathrooms. Breakfast was a fantastic homemade plate of fresh, tasty food and fruit. We had a splendid stay.

We spent a week here and felt at home. Chelston and Alley were such great hosts and made our stay comfortable. Chef Chelston served an excellent breakfast every day. It’s a great place for a comfortable stay, and we recommend Le Gite du hu art to anyone visiting Quebec.
