There are bars nearby, so the street gets noisy at night. Other than that, the place is well located and has been renovated with a lot of care and thought. It comes with a full kitchen, and the owner even leaves four capsules for the Nespresso machine. For the same price, it’s especially good value compared with hotel rooms.

The room itself was nice, and the beds were comfortable. Old Quebec was only a 20-minute walk away, though the surrounding neighborhood felt a bit sketchy. There was someone outside our window smoking crack. The room had a strong fabreez smell, which I think was meant to cover a sewer smell. Once we used the toilet and shower, that smell went away.

The owners were really helpful and quick to respond, and we'd stay here again without hesitation. The apartment was clean and bright, with lots of great restaurants and bars nearby. Try Le 101 in the same building! Old Quebec City is a short trip away, and parking is just a couple of minutes on foot.

The street has everything you need for breakfast, dinner, or a glass of wine. The apartment itself was pleasant, well equipped, and in a good location, about a 30-minute walk uphill to beautiful Old Quebec. It does get noisy at night because of the nearby bars.
