Hôtel Maison Ste-Ursule

The rooms are roomy, and the location is great. There’s some old-world charm to the building, while the interiors have been nicely updated with a modern feel. Free parking was a big plus, and the stay was comfortable and convenient.

The room was clean and charming, and I especially liked having a vanity in the bathroom. Getting there was part of the appeal too, with a flower-filled alley and inviting outdoor seats. The young man at the desk greeted us warmly and walked us to our room. This little hotel exceeded my expectations. I’d recommend it and would happily return.

We had a really great stay and would come back. The place is cute and cozy, and our room had a rustic attic feel, a little sink, and a small balcony. The uphill walk to the hotel was tough with our suitcases, so pack light if you can. The receptionist was helpful with food suggestions since breakfast wasn’t included. It’s close to places to eat and within walking distance of other attractions.

The toilet leaked, and the owner seemed to know about it. There was no fan on the top floor, which got hot, and communication was poor. The room itself was dingy, with random furniture, and getting up three narrow flights of stairs with our bags was a lot. The old house smelled bad and furniture was covered. I don’t care how nice people say the owner is, she should make the B&B comfortable for guests. Clean it up and air it out. We’re two world-travelling professionals, and we would NOT stay here again.
