I wouldn’t choose this place again if a good night’s sleep is the priority. The main problem was the noise: I could hear people walking in the corridor and various mechanical sounds all night because the soundproofing was poor. The room was very dark when we arrived at night, with inadequate lighting. There were some good points too. The front desk staff were welcoming, the small room was well designed, and the bathroom looked very nice. The bed was comfortable, the heating worked efficiently, and the Wi-Fi was good. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the train station Ste-Foy.

The hotel was very clean and conveniently situated between Quebec City, the Aquarium, and Woodooli Park. Nights in the area were calm, though I did hear some noise that was still within an acceptable range. They had thoughtfully set up a baby crib even though I hadn’t requested one, which I really appreciated. A pleasant stay for our family.

We slept like babies in a very nice room with a mini fridge, small microwave, and coffee machine. The washroom was lovely, with a huge flat showerhead and great water pressure. The place was very clean and well maintained, and it’s close to the bridge. They also have electric car chargers.

The rooms are nice and the bed was great, but you can hear other rooms quite easily, especially their water systems. What surprised us was the major roadwork happening just metres from the hotel. There were bulldozers, dirt, dust, and noise all around, making things hugely inconvenient for travellers. We’re from the UK and drove from Ottawa in 4.5 hours, but finding the hotel took another 90 minutes. The manageress said we only got a late road update because we booked through Booking.com, which made us feel like second-class guests. We had to stay the one night, but we’re leaving tomorrow.

The decor was beautiful, and the bathroom was clean and absolutely stunning, well worth the price. Breakfast cost extra and, honestly, wasn’t worth paying for because it was bland. Still, this is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at.
