Les Maisons Montcalm

Suite Frontenac on the ground floor worked well for the two of us. It had a simple kitchen, a pleasant dining and living area, and an updated bathroom. A shelf or rack in the shower would help, since otherwise everything has to go on the floor. The old home has plenty of charm and historic details, though you can hear guests in the upper unit. Parking around back was easy and felt safe. It's a killer location, an easy walk to the old town and Av. Cartier, with its Metro grocery store, shops, and restaurants. Great stay, and we'd return. We stayed on the second floor in lovely four-bedroom, two-bath accommodations, an easy walk from the old walled Quebec City. The kitchen had most of what we needed to cook meals.

The house's history shows in its charming heritage details, and the host was thoughtful, easy to reach, and approachable. We were right in the heart of the festival, across from the stunning jardin jean d'arche and a short walk from the gorgeous Plains and its walking trails. The place was comfortable, spacious, welcoming, and very clean. High-speed internet and excellent amenities made the stay even better, while the state-of-the-art AC kept things cool on some of the hottest summer days. Truly wonderful, thank you!

The three bedrooms and two bathrooms in Suite Laurier were just right for our small girls' getaway group. The concierge was very attentive, and parking was available for a small fee. Great location and a fantastic stay.
