I spent $480 on a room and had one of the worst experiences of my life. It was dirty and full of bed bugs, nothing like I expected. The staff refused my refund request, and I had to call three times to get my $200 security deposit back. I also called the police, but they hadn’t arrived by the time I needed to leave for Hamilton. Honestly, the street would have felt safer and more comfortable for sleeping.

This place was absolutely disgusting. The online photos didn’t match what we found: stains everywhere, huge bugs, and drawers missing from the cabinets. When we asked for our money back, they refused.

It was convenient for getting around, and things seemed fine at first, but the shower had a black mold smell. After two of our four nights, I had to leave and book somewhere else. My nose was running nonstop, and my right eye started getting inflamed, which worried me after eye surgery. The evening employee refused to refund me, so I’ll have to take it up with my travel agency. MAPAQ has been notified.

They helped us find rooms at the last minute, which we appreciated. The price was good and we didn’t run into any issues, though the hotel and the surrounding area both felt rough.

I found the place haunted. Don’t stay here if you don’t want to waste your time and money. For what it’s worth, I did get my money back.
