The room had a fridge and microwave and was clean. It was $65. The motel was empty when we arrived, but the only two other guests were placed in the rooms on either side of us. The walls were thin, so we could hear everything they did next door. That really soured the stay, especially since we were the only people in the whole motel.
The cinder block walls mean you don't hear every little thing from the next room, and they feel fire safe too. It's a simple little budget motel, clean and well cared for, with good shower pressure and temperature. There's a Chinese restaurant, a Timmies, and the TCH nearby.
The location is easy to get to, right on the Trans-Canada and beside a restaurant, convenience store, and gas. The rate was reasonable, the free Wifi was great compared with many other motels and hotels, and the service was reliable and fast. A really great motel.
For $55 in the off season for a single, it was very good value. The room was clean and had a microwave and fridge. It's no Ritz, but at least on par with a Motel 6.
The room setup was decent, and the staff were very polite. Great value for the price.
