Holten Heritage House Bed and Breakfast

Breakfast from Chef Sam was as tasty as it was nicely presented, and the staff at Holten were great, both out front and behind the scenes. Andreas was a wonderful host with loads of information about the area. His hospitality experience really showed, and he was thoroughly professional. We were tired travelers, and the spotless, welcoming room made for a lovely little escape. I don't usually go for Victorian style, but that king-sized canopy bed was just what I needed for a full, restful night's sleep. Such a gem of a find.

The rooms had loads of space and natural light, and the shared areas were full of interesting, unusual decor. It's an easy walk to downtown, and having private parking was a nice plus. I wondered if the place might be haunted, but I'm glad it wasn't! This was our first time in Revelstoke, and staying here was our favourite part of the visit. Andres was welcoming and pleasant to deal with, and breakfast was an unexpectedly healthy treat. Fantastic hospitality and food from Andres and Sam. I'd recommend it to anyone after a distinctive, enjoyable stay.

We had such a lovely time talking with our host Andre that we didn't want to leave. The house is quiet, and the walk downtown is easy. Revelstoke is a lovely town, and Holten House is well worth a stay. We hope to come back. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, so we slept really well. Breakfast was filling and delicious: fresh berries from the garden with granola, yogurt, and good strong coffee, followed by smoked salmon Eggs Benedict.

We stopped here and found it well worth it. The owners were great, and the dogs were friendly. Our bed was very comfy and smelled fresh, and the Sunrise Room really did live up to its name. The couple made a wonderful fresh breakfast too.
