Stoke Hotel SureStay Collection by Best Western

The train goes right past the front, and someone played loud music all night. I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from, but they provide earplugs, which let me get some sleep. The hotel is by the river and close enough to downtown. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It had a sink, fridge and microwave, though no dishes or cutlery, which would make sense to add. Breakfast was the best I’ve had at a Best Western so far. The selection was similar to others, but the friendly staff served real eggs instead of pasteurized or premade ones. A pleasant one-night stay.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the friendly staff and breakfast were the best parts. I liked the range of food and drinks. There was some hair on the bathroom floor, and the shower felt too small. The curtain kept sticking to me while I showered. Apart from that, it was a wonderful stay, and I recommend giving it a try.

Even on Christmas morning, Marcelle and her team were there smiling and making sure we had what we needed. The free breakfast buffet was phenomenal, served each morning in a cozy diner. We booked the Stoke Hotel at the last minute for Revelstoke, and the price was right for the value. The hot tub was great too. I’d definitely stay again.

Breakfast was quite good, but the room was shockingly tiny. There was only one of the few power outlets near the entrance, and the hot tub jets were weak. Revelstoke is expensive, and although this hotel is cheap, I don’t think it’s good value. Two adults couldn’t share the room comfortably. Update: They apparently think I’m David and that my issue was addressed. Neither is true.
