The small breakfast in the morning was awesome, and the location was great. We could walk downtown, and it was just under 15 minutes to the mountain base. The staff were lovely, the rooms clean and bright, and we had an amazing stay at the Swiss Chalet. We’d absolutely come back!

I was worried the railway tracks nearby would make the room noisy at night, but it was quiet and no trains ran. The whole room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and informative. The room was small but had everything I needed. The bed sat a bit high, though it was comfortable, with nice pillows. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. A pleasant visit, and I’d stay again.

Having a parking space assigned to each room was handy, and we could walk to some great restaurants from here. The motel is easy to find just off the highway. Our room was spotless and a good size, with very comfortable beds and nice linens.

The price felt fair, and this older hotel has been updated with good taste. The main drawback is the constant noise from the busy road and mainline railway beside it. You can feel the trains passing as well as hear them. Breakfast is pretty sparse, with no bread, buns, or cereal, and they serve milk instead of cream with the coffee. A couple of updates would make a real difference.

The free breakfast and hot drinks are set out in a large area, with automated machines offering lots of drink choices too. Everything is free. It’s a central, very clean place, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll be back!
