The Stone Hedge B&B

Linda Chef made a wonderful breakfast, and the homemade jam was absolutely delicious. The rooms were cozy and clean, with lots of thoughtful touches. Brian was friendly and welcoming, and he knows a lot about the area. We had a fantastic stay at The Stone Hedge Bed and Breakfast. Brian and Linda are lovely hosts, and the place felt like a real oasis. I can’t wait to return, and highly recommend it for a memorable getaway.

The three-course breakfast was delicious and went perfectly with the gardens. This family-run B&B was charming, with exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. Linda and Brian were wonderful hosts and took great care of us. I’d highly recommend staying here for a getaway close to home or as a stop before a flight from the nearby airport. Our stay was short, but it felt like being with family. Everything was clean, prepared, and on time. My husband and I were delayed quite a bit by our flight, and we also have dietary restrictions. Brian and Linda handled both concerns so kindly, and went far beyond what we’d expected. I can’t explain how wonderful the breakfast was. If you both read this, please stay golden. Your generosity brings tears to my eyes, and I hope your B&B thrives!

We reached "The Stone Hedge Bed and Breakfast" around 11 PM after a tiring eight-hour flight, and Brian welcomed us warmly. He showed us to our room and offered us a larger one at no extra charge since it was empty that night. The decor in every room was charming and made us feel at home. The place is clean and cozy, close to the airport and within walking distance of a mall. Brian walked us through all the details, including the lights, switches, AC, Wi-Fi, TV, coffee machine, kettle, hot chocolate, snacks, and more than 20 kinds of tea. He really made sure we were comfortable. At 9 AM he started serving a three-course breakfast. We didn’t get to meet Chef Linda, but her food was delicious, including grape and crab apple jam made with fruit from the backyard. Brian’s careful attention and the way he served breakfast added a lovely touch to the morning. Our stay was wonderful. The hosts’ warmth and care for details surpassed what we might have expected even at a five-star hotel. We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely Richmond spot.
