The special four course birthday dinner was fabulous, and breakfast was excellent too. The owner even put together a box breakfast for my wife when she slept in. We had a lovely room with a propane fireplace and heat pump, and the bed was definitely comfortable. We’ll be back sometime.

We went with a group of friends for a celebratory lunch and had a lovely time on Shadow Lawn’s verandah, under the striped awning with summer flowers and shady trees around us. Marcus and the staff made us feel special and welcomed us so warmly. The seasonal menu had plenty of variety, including lobster rolls, seafood chowder, feta and pear flatbread, and burgers. We can’t wait to return. Don’t miss this gem!

The Robertson has so much history, and we enjoyed staying at the Inn. The meal there was phenomenal, and we loved every part of it.

We had a family celebration lunch at Shadow Lawn for 20 people, and everyone agreed it was a great choice. Our group had the large front dining room to ourselves. The food was excellent, and service was efficient, with plenty of staff taking our orders right away. The fixed menu offered two or three options for each course, so the whole meal went very smoothly. Well done, Shadow Lawn team!
