Our room, #4 in the Gallant House, had plenty of space and Victorian-style decor, with a TV, coffee maker, and mini-fridge. The windows all had great views, and breakfast was hot and delicious with several choices. We also appreciated how welcoming and down-to-earth our hostess was, including her humour. The grounds and buildings were beautiful and well maintained. We stayed three nights at Barachois Inn, with quick access to central PEI and Charlottetown.

Andrea's French toast was a bonus, and staying at the Barachois B&B made our visit to PEI even more special. We were in Gallant House, where our room had several pieces of antique furniture. The home and property are lovely, and Andrea made us feel right at home. She's friendly, genuine, bubbly, and kind-hearted.

The art around the inn gave us plenty to take in and appreciate, and breakfast's French toast was delicious. Our room was spotless, cozy, and comfortable, with thoughtful details that made it feel like home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the whole place felt warm and inviting. We had a delightful stay at the Barachois Inn and highly recommend it.

Breakfast each morning was fabulous, and we enjoyed getting to know the other guests over the Inn's perfected French toast. Andrea also gave us excellent dining recommendations. The Inn is in a gorgeous part of the Island, with lots to see and do nearby. We booked Premium Suite # 5 for two nights, and it had plenty of room, a comfortable bed, a kitchenette, and a glorious soaker tub. Andrea greeted us warmly and was welcoming and down-to-earth. We were so comfortable and can't wait to return.

The parlor was very nice and comfortable, and the history and furnishings in the main areas were interesting. But this is nowhere close to a five-star stay. We were in the Victoria traditional room, which was quite small. The linens were marked, the towels needed replacing, and the only robe was stained. The shower stall was very small, too. Breakfasts were fine but average. This was the fifth B&B or small inn we'd stayed in, and for the price, it fell short of our expectations. Our stay was fine, but it definitely wasn't five-star.
