We only stayed one night at Chateau Murdock and wished we’d booked longer. Francois and Natalie were excellent hosts, and both our room and the common areas were comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent too, the best we had in the Saguenay region. We strongly recommend it.

We felt at home at the Murdock Gîte, thanks to Nathalie and François, who were perfect hosts. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. We didn’t have time to book the spa experience. À la prochaine !!

Nathalie and Francois were so friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was a must. Everything was fresh and delicious, especially the warm croissant, which we’ll be telling everyone back home about. Francois made a delicious artisanal coffee too. The location and grounds were beautiful, with gardens, lawns, and flowers. We wished we could have spent longer in the yard, but there was so much to do in Saguenay. The double bed was a bit small.

This was our first time staying at a B&B and it was a great one. The building is beautiful, the rooms were clean and had exactly what I needed, and the bed was comfy. Nice host, good price, great location. I’d definitely stay again.

We had a calm, comfortable two-night stay in a really impressive old building. The location was central but very quiet, and the owner was friendly and helpful. Our room kept the building’s old charm while still having what we needed, including a fridge, TV, and USB ports. The mattress was a bit worn and could use replacing, though it didn’t cause us any real trouble.
