The breakfast buffet was good, and the reception staff were nice, but the rest of our two-night stay was a real letdown. The room smelled like carpet as soon as we walked in. We asked to switch rooms, and the staff member helped, but the second room smelled the same. He sprayed something on the carpet while we went out to eat. When we got back the next evening, the beds hadn’t been made and the towels hadn’t been changed. We complained and were told we could raise it with the manager later. We emailed Mr Lofti and got no reply. Expedia also didn’t reimburse us, and the reason they gave was completely different from our complaint. Sleeping in that smell was awful and could make someone sick. This is the worst hotel service I’ve experienced, and I can’t recommend the property. I’d pay a little more to stay somewhere else. Edit: I guess you didn’t read my whole response. This wasn’t about a survey. We had a difficult stay and got no response about the bad service. Unbelievable.

The room was spacious and clean, with modern furniture and soft, large beds, so it worked really well for our family. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including baked goods, eggs, sausage or bacon, cereal, fruit, and yogurt. There’s free parking onsite and wifi too. I only wish the TV had a Netflix app.

The complimentary breakfast was tough to get, with a long line and too little space for everyone. Taking it back to your room may be the best bet. Parking is adequate, though awkward to use, and the facilities are just okay. I also paid a premium for two nights. Quebec doesn’t observe Simcoe’s day, but the prices were steep anyway.

The kitchen lady was very pleasant. The breakfast room gets uncomfortably hot when the waffle maker and toaster are going. My room was clean, the shower had hot water, and the location was convenient.

I stayed in room 233 on March 4, 2025, and wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The sink and bathtub were broken, and after I told reception, nothing was fixed and nobody offered to move us. The room was small and smelled bad, and the internet was extremely weak. Even the door key didn’t work when we arrived, so we had to go back to reception to sort it out.
