The shower opens straight into the room, which might take some getting used to. The place is small and basic, with compact rooms, few amenities, and little on-site service, so guests are mostly on their own. It works if you just need somewhere to sleep and aren't after extra comforts or a full-service hotel.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the little auberge was clean. The bunk bed rattled with even the slightest movement and needed tightening. Also, the shared toilet door didn't shut properly, so it couldn't be locked securely.

What a surprise to find live bands featuring well-known artists here. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly.

I was comfortable and cozy. Just a heads-up, though, the shower door opens into the room, not a separate bathroom.
