Hébergement JFL Chalet 5

The chalet is a manageable 40-minute drive from central Quebec City, with grocery stores, restaurants, and pharmacies nearby, and it's close to Mount Ste-Anne. We found it great value and would gladly come back. Just be aware there's no central air in summer. There are portable fans, an in-window air conditioner in the upstairs living room, and a basement dehumidifier. You'll need to bring shampoo and body wash, though hand soap is supplied. We stayed over Labour Day weekend in 2022. The house was spotless, newly renovated, and spacious. There are three bedrooms with queen or double beds and good storage on the first floor, plus a full bathroom. Downstairs has another bathroom, a large kids' room with twin beds, and a washer and dryer. The upstairs kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cutlery, and cooking supplies, which suited our big family, and there's a third bathroom up there too. At the entrance, a large closet makes a handy spot for skis in winter. Stephane and Natalie were warm and thoughtful hosts. Stephen stayed in touch, answered our questions, and let us be flexible about arrival. They'd even left chilled glasses in the freezer. There were plenty of towels and a hairdryer in each bathroom. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it.

A really great place.

The quiet setting and mountain views made it easy to relax and forget the usual daily stress. We spent a week here and wished we had booked another one. It's a beautiful chalet, and the owners made us feel very welcome. Don't let fake reviews put you off, we thought the place was fantastic. We'll be back.
