Motel Mont Habitant

This is a very good hill for learning or for a relaxed ski or snowboard day. The team is wonderful, and the school is great. Most runs are easy, so it’s perfect for kids who are still learning, and there’s little wait at the chairlifts. People are relaxed here. Experienced skiers may get bored quickly unless they enjoy carving on groomed slopes. There are very few moguls, sometimes none because they groom everything, and there’s only one significant pitch, which is very short. The snow park is tiny and has almost no slope, but that makes it good for learning too.

I’m learning to snowboard, and this mountain has been perfect for me. It’s small, and people are polite and understanding toward beginners. My daughter is taking lessons at their snow school, and her instructor is patient and encouraging. I’d definitely recommend it to snow sport newbies.

My daughter’s ski lesson coach was awesome, really friendly and kind. The staff and service were great overall. I’d recommend Mont Habitant to my friends, and hope to see you in winter 2018.

I’m giving this place one star because of the vaccine passport requirement. It was a very nice place for family skiing, with plenty of runs from black diamond to green. Sunday prices were 40 CAD for rentals per day and 43 CAD plus taxes for a day ski pass.
