Mont Gabriel, Sainte-Adele, a Tribute Portfolio Resort

We spent four nights and five days at Mont Gabriel and enjoyed our stay. Mathis and William at the front desk were so welcoming and kind, and the breakfast servers were professional and delightful. There were excellent food choices, too. We’d definitely visit again. Mathis, have a great trip to Korea, and thank you so much.

What made our stay feel so welcoming was the staff. Samantha, our bartender, was lovely and showed us how to make drinks. She even made the kids a non-alcoholic “butter beer.” At Victor restaurant, our waitress was gracious each time, and Kimberly took wonderful care of our children during the cookie decorating. Amy, William, and Alicia at reception were warm and did their best to help with everything. The food, cleanliness, atmosphere, and people were all top notch. The activities were a letdown. Before booking, we asked for and received the itinerary, but the schedule changed and most activities were cancelled while we were there. We missed things like sip and paint, face painting, and movie night. A snowstorm limited what we could do, and the events coordinator wouldn’t accommodate our group, even though reception offered to try to bring some events back. We booked mainly for the activities because we had young children who couldn’t ski, and the weather wasn’t suitable for skiing either. In my view, there weren’t enough activities to make the resort fee worthwhile.

We just had a one-night spa break for my boyfriend’s birthday, and this is the nicest place we’ve tried for our yearly tradition. During the holidays it feels like stepping into a Hallmark Christmas movie, cozy but still modern. The decor and aroma hit you as soon as you walk in, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything outside was immaculate, and our room overlooking the ski hills was breathtaking. I loved the heated bathroom floor. The indoor pool was warm and clean, and the big outdoor thermal bath and dry sauna were gorgeous. We’ve already booked a return with the kids for March break. Can’t wait!

The thermal facilities were excellent, and every pool temperature was just right, from the cold plunge and hot tub to the indoor pool. Staff were friendly, and I was happy to see it’s part of the Marriot chain. The EV charging was a nice bonus.
