The welcome felt amazing from the moment we opened the front doors and reached reception. The valet guy showed us around the whole hotel, and the customer service person who greeted us was lovely. Karine, Christian, and everyone who served us were incredible: patient, friendly, and full of information about the menu and wines. The service and communication were excellent. This place feels like home and family. I don't know where to start, it's unbelievable. 100% of everything. We'll come back. Don't miss this place!

We were made to feel like part of the family during our two days at Stonehaven, with kind, caring staff who gave us just the right amount of attention. Maxime deserves a special mention for suggesting an excellent hike around the lake and personally driving us to the bus stop in town a couple of times, saving us a taxi. The staff really couldn't do enough for us. Our very large room was in the adjacent building, quiet and peaceful, about a one-minute walk from the main house and amenities. We arrived before it was ready, but Manon at reception arranged to have our bags brought over so we could enjoy the spa right away. The pool was relaxing in the summer sun, though it would've been calmer if some guests hadn't taken work or personal calls from their loungers while others were trying to relax. My 90-minute massage was one of the best I've had. Dinner with a lake view was tasty, and the sommelier gave excellent recommendations. The picturesque driveway and view back over the lake made a lovely first impression. We'll definitely be back.

Booking this hotel was a disappointing experience because something seems wrong with how they handle reservations. I found one night available on Expedia for December 31st, paid $550 upfront to secure it, and was excited about a night away at a nice place. When my husband called to ask whether we needed a dinner reservation, he was told it was strange that we could book a room at all. They said we'd have no access to the amenities because of a special event, and that eating at the restaurant required paying another $540 for their New Year's Eve event. I cancelled. A day later, the room was still listed on Expedia, waiting for someone else to get lucky. After this poor customer support, I won't consider this property again.

The spa was peaceful, intimate, and well appointed, a lovely way to unwind during an already wonderful stay at StoneHaven Le Manoir Relais & Châteaux. From the start, every detail, gesture, and smile from the staff made us feel welcome and valued. The hotel is tucked into nature, with elegant architecture and breathtaking views. They surprised us with a room upgrade. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly serene. The food was another highlight: we had the tasting menu both nights, and on the second evening the chef created a custom menu just for us. The sommelier put together a personal wine pairing that suited each course perfectly. Every bite and sip was unforgettable. A rare gem in the Laurentians, refined, warm, and deeply memorable. We're already planning to return.
