Mom and I loved our stay in one of the cottages. The sunroom was beautiful for looking out at the ocean, and the grounds were delightful. Breakfast was good, too. Debbie’s kindness and bright personality made the visit, and Captain William. There’s no TV in the cottage, so it’s best if you’re looking to unwind in a lovely setting.

The views from Mt. Shubel over Sandy Cove, St. Mary's Bay and the Bay of Fundy were a highlight, along with visiting the former Camp Arcadie and walking the beloved beach we called the Bayshore. We also took the ferry from East Ferry to Tiverton and went to nearby Balancing Rock. Whale watching will have to wait until our next trip to Sandy Cove. We stayed at Ye Olde Village Inn on August 26, and thanks to Debbie and Lisa for their warm hospitality. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed chatting with other guests, including some who were searching for relatives in the area. It was a most pleasant stay.

We could walk a few minutes to one beach and drive a short way to another. The hosts were so gracious and kind, and the cottage worked perfectly for our family. Such a beautiful place to make memories!

The room furniture really needs replacing, especially that musty smelling couch. There wasn't anywhere to eat, and no way to make coffee or heat anything. The advertised WiFi was basically non existent.
