Blue Shore Resort

The lake view was beautiful, and we had a lovely two-night stay. We didn't see any other guests until we were leaving. Breakfast was a small, pleasant spread with bread, bagels, a couple of cereal choices, and some fruit. There are two nearby train tracks, and trains use them several times during both the day and night. We could hear them from our room. Earplugs were provided.

Lance made us feel so well looked after. You can tell how much pride he takes in caring for the resort, and how much he wants guests to feel at home. We really appreciated everything he did, and we'll definitely return. We stayed in the lake house, which was beautiful, bright, and very clean. The grounds were impeccable, and having the continental breakfast was great. The coffee was delicious. Thank you, Lance!

The kids had a great time swimming in the lake and warming up afterward in the jacuzzi. Our room was very clean, well equipped, and had a great view. The resort itself is lovely, with more in the room than we've found at places like this. Lance was what made the stay for us. He looked after the whole family from the moment we arrived, shared stories with us, and told us about the region and beyond. It's clear he cares about both the place and the people who stay there. The resort is lucky to have him. We ended up here by coincidence and had such a good experience. It's a little gem, and we'd definitely recommend a stay.

The location was convenient, only minutes from Tobiano Golf & Country Club, and the views were stunning. There was plenty of parking, comfortable furniture, and excellent mattresses that made for a relaxing stay. Outside, we had a huge deck with quality patio furniture and a barbeque, plus a dock on the lake among beautiful trees, including fruit trees. The two hot tubs were a lovely extra. The property manager was outstanding and made everything smooth and enjoyable. The kitchen could use a few more cooking materials, though it wasn't a major issue. A local grocery store nearby had essentials, snacks, fishing gear, cooking supplies, and even a small handyman section, which was handy. This place feels like one of the area's best-kept secrets. I'd rate it 4.99.
