Katherine was incredibly kind and went to great lengths to make sure guests were comfortable and happy. The house is beautifully furnished and well located for walking around Port Dalhousie or taking a short drive around St. Catharines. Our room was comfortable and private, and just as lovely as the rest of the house. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and healthy, whether you sit down with the other guests or take it to go. I’d absolutely stay here any time I’m in the greater Niagara area.

We expected to use Simcoe Suites as a quick wine tour stop on the drive to Parry Sound, but the walk around town changed our plans. Everything was only minutes away, and we decided Port Dalhousie should be our new weekend getaway. Katherine’s recommendations helped us find a lovely morning stroll, and we enjoyed how friendly, welcoming, and beautiful the town was. Our arrival day had a rough start with car trouble, misplaced passports, and traffic delays. Katherine at Simcoe Suites stayed patient, helpful, and understanding through it all. Her breakfasts were amazing, including another one the next day made expertly with local ingredients. We also liked the area wineries and were excited by how many dry wines there were. At 13th Street Wineries, we tried our first buttertarts and took six along to share the buttertart gospel with our families. After picking up wine for the rest of the trip, we returned to Simcoe Suites, walked down to the beach, then went to our dinner reservations in town. The next morning, we walked to Balzac's Coffee for an ice coffee for the road. The house has large porches, thriving flower beds, and open rooms full of character, and Katherine’s warm, fun personality suited it perfectly. She was helpful and present without being overbearing or insistent. We couldn’t have had a better trip. It was our first Bed & Breakfast stay, and it’s set an exceedingly high bar. We’ll definitely be back.

Katherine is so sweet, and the Bed &Breakfast is beautiful. We had a tour.

My wife and I always try to come here each summer. I like visiting, and the people are lovely.
