Villa Bianca Inn & Restaurant

For a one-star place, I was glad to have a roof over my head while traveling across Northern Ontario, where accommodation options are sadly limited. I paid $125 at the end of May 2025, which felt high for this level of stay, especially given the room’s cleanliness, though there aren’t many hotels or motels to choose from in the area. There’s potential here. The bedding and decor were basic and dated. The carpet needed cleaning, and the room smelled stale. The bathroom was also basic, though it was the most updated part of the room. The towels were clean, but the bathroom could have used more cleaning. The room did have a chair, table, alarm, a place to hang clothes, a fridge, and a microwave. The staff were very kind and helpful. They let me check in late, showed me the room before I stayed, and helped me park my large vehicle in a better spot than the ones outside the rooms. There was no overnight staff after check-in, as expected, but they explained how to contact them if I had concerns. In the morning, they made me a coffee before I left without me asking, which was lovely. A pizza place, coffee shop, and gas station share the parking lot and have good reviews, but none were open when I arrived or left. The air was stale, the carpet needed attention, and the wiring relied on power bars and extension cords instead of dedicated outlets. The parking area is small and sits beside a busy highway, so vehicles are exposed to people passing by and late-night traffic. Staff did tell me there was a camera in the parking area, which was reassuring. I appreciated the staff’s kindness, the chance to see the room first, and especially the morning coffee. There’s another motel directly behind the parking lot, with a more protected parking area if that’s what you need.

The on-site restaurant serves good food, and the atmosphere is peaceful. The rooms are a little old, but they’re clean, comfortable, and maintained. Staff were friendly and attentive from check-in through check-out. Villa Bianca Inn Motel & Restaurant met my expectations, with convenient location and warm hospitality. A good place to stay.

The pizza was amazing when it arrived, and the coffee and breakfast sandwich in the morning were excellent. The staff’s service was outstanding. The decor is dated, but the rooms were clean and quiet, and the beds were comfortable. I had plenty of doubts when I first pulled up, but I totally recommend this place to anyone.

The rooms look better than the photos. Nice place, and the receptionist was really friendly and hard working.
