Best Western Plus City Centre Inn

The hotel restaurant was excellent for a hotel restaurant, with good food, great views, and amazing service. The hotel itself is conveniently located, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our renovated room was very clean and well equipped: coffee maker, microwave, minifridge, and a large TV with lots of channels and streaming options. There's also a lobby 'Marketplace' with a big selection of drinks, snacks, and toiletries. We'll definitely stay again.

Right across from Kingsway mall, this is a modest hotel in a convenient spot. I liked having ground-floor access to my room. It was clean and had enough amenities for what I needed. The staff were great, especially in the restaurant, which was under renovation. Even with that going on, the food was good and the service excellent. It's not the Ritz, but the quality and service are very good for a decent price. Best of all, they have a TV channel that plays Portlandia nonstop.

The rooms are great, but friendly service matters too, and the front desk staff often weren't welcoming. Jess was rude in her tone and barely smiled. Most of the time the staff didn't greet guests warmly, and they could use customer service training. Best Western should train its staff, including Jess, to be friendlier.

The room window looked into the hallway, which made me feel like someone could walk past and creep on me at night. Apart from that, it was a wonderful stay. The room was clean and nice, the staff were friendly, and they were very accommodating for the price. The place was easy to find.
