I haven't stayed at the motel, but I've eaten breakfast and dinner there plenty of times. Breakfast is simple, cheap, and good. They also have a Thai dinner menu, and every Thai dish I've tried has been very good. My favorite is the spicy basil beef, it's delicious.

The calamari was nicely seasoned and cooked properly, but the seafood Pad Thai was poor, with hardly any seafood and no taste. I've had Pad Thai at lots of Thai restaurants, and this was the worst example for me. I won't stop here again. Maybe they do other dishes better, sorry for the owner. Edit: It's a new restaurant now, and I think they renovated the rooms.

The owners are very nice, and this is a great family owned business. The food in the restaurant is so delicious! The rooms are fine and very clean. You have to run the water for a little while, but hot water was never a problem, there was always plenty and the pressure was great.

We could hear other guests late at night, during the night, and early in the morning. There wasn't an obvious way to lock the door from inside either. The room itself was spacious, with two small double beds and an en suite shower. We were told the shower would take fifteen minutes to warm up, but it got warm faster. If you're travelling south, getting there means doubling back on the highway.

The owners are really friendly, and the fresh food from The Golden Palace is awesome, delicious, and very tasty. I get it at least 3-4 times a month. Get in there or take it out, yummy!
