The room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was the big disappointment. Expedia’s photos need updating: I expected a substantial, nice breakfast, but got cold bread, peanut butter, jam and hard-boiled eggs. If you call yourself a bed and breakfast, you should serve a nice breakfast. First-time guests might not know what to expect from that name.

It’s a lovely, comfortable place, and the rooms are nicely furnished. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. In one room, though, there was a large window without a curtain, so sleeping in wasn’t possible, and we didn’t have enough towels in that room.

The hosts were welcoming and spoke excellent English, and the Romeo and Juliet suite had a balcony facing* the lake and a huge bathroom with a bath. Breakfast in the conservatory was the highlight, probably the best I’ve had at a B&B. Great place.

The owners were really friendly, and the setup for social distancing was well organized. We picked up breakfast in a small basket on the terrasse, then ate in our room at a little table with two chairs. The room itself was spacious, with a very comfortable king bed and a great little kitchen area that had everything we could need. There was also a small hot tub and a pool on the property. Best of all, the espresso machine made excellent coffee.

Lovely view of the bay, clean and cosy rooms, and a really good breakfast. The hosts were very friendly too. A+++
