Staying at Le Griffon while visiting a relative in Moncton turned out to be a great choice. It felt like a home away from home, with a quiet atmosphere, a spacious room, and full access to a kitchen. I could walk to restaurants, grocery stores, and the beach. The chocolate café is great, too, and I highly recommend it.

The croque monsieur at breakfast down the street was definitely the right call. Back at The Griffon, I loved the historic building and how well it’s been maintained. Each bedroom has its own ensuite, the bed was very comfortable, and the WiFi had plenty of bandwidth for streaming my favourite show. If you’re an Alice in Wonderland fan, you’ll love this place even more.

Breakfast was amazing. I had a fruit and yogurt parfait with sides, and my husband had a fresh croissant sandwich. The owners were super friendly and helpful, too. We loved the house’s old style and found the kitchen well stocked for cooking.

Such a charming, homey place. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and everything was really clean. The people running it are so friendly, and you can tell they care about their guests. I’ll definitely be back.

The owners run a great restaurant just down the street, where we had a delicious dinner. A few steps away is their café and chocolate shop, where we had an excellent breakfast. Our room at this welcoming, well run B & B in the seacoast town of Shediac was comfortable and quiet. A very good stop on our way home to Maine after a bike trip in PEI.
