Ocean Wilderness Inn

Caroline and Trevor have made this such a welcoming place, and you can tell how much care they put into the details. We stayed in the Whale Room, with its gorgeous ocean view. The bed was comfortable, and everything in the room was clean. There were binoculars in the room and fresh flowers in a vase, and the hot tub looks out over the water. The breakfast was a highlight too. Caroline made a tasty quiche and muffins, including one of the best apple crumble muffins I’ve had. My partner and I were so glad to find this cozy B&B for our island holiday. It’s a relaxing little gem, still easy to reach from Victoria and the nice beaches in the southwest of the island. Can’t wait to come back.

We stayed in the whale watching suite for a lovely weekend escape. The bedroom view is amazing, and the property feels so peaceful. Caroline and Trevor are lovely hosts who really want guests to feel comfortable and happy. Breakfast was fab, with amazing quiche and a different muffin each morning. We had banana nut one day and apple cinnamon the next. The outdoor hot tub has an ocean view, so bring your bathing suit. There’s a path down the hill to the beach, about a 5-10 minute walk. We enjoyed exploring and saw seals, birds, and a waterfall farther along. A great spot for a romantic or relaxing getaway.

Caroline and Trevor were wonderful hosts, and they gave us lots of information about the area to help us explore. The breakfasts were hearty and amazing, with quiches, muffins, yogurt, and cereal. Our stay at the Ocean Wilderness Inn felt magical. It was a great getaway, and we’d highly recommend it.

Caroline kindly fit us in at the last minute, even though it was late in the day. The ocean views from the property were beautiful, and the guest and breakfast rooms had a charming feel. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, especially the homemade quiche and muffins. There’s a path to a beautiful, quiet beach for those who are in shape. We had a great stay at the inn and highly recommend it.
