The location worked especially well for my flight, only five minutes from the airport. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and I appreciated having assorted teas and a kettle. The front desk agents were welcoming when I arrived, and after check-in they called to see how I was doing. It's clear the staff care about their guests. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm back at the island. Thank you!

From the outside it doesn't look like much, but inside it's a nice, well-run three-star hotel. The rooms are spacious, and this was one of the best soundproofed rooms I've stayed in. You're paying a premium for being close to the ferry. Bestwesterns in downtown Victoria are consistently cheaper.

We came for a three-night hockey tournament, and the staff went above and beyond to make things work for us. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the Sidney community. Thanks for making it such a good visit.

BEWARE: I booked this Sidney, British Columbia hotel through the Bestwestern booking line while calling from Vernon, British Columbia. They quoted me $215 plus taxes but didn't say whether that was CAD or USD. At check-in, the receptionist confirmed it was $215 CAD, or $240 with taxes. My Visa statement later showed a charge in USD, which converted to 340.50 Canadian dollars, $99.30 more than the quote. Nearly $100 extra! When I called the hotel directly, they wouldn't help. Best Western Customer Service also refused to admit there had been a mistake or refund the difference. It felt like a huge SCAM, so beware!

I've enjoyed staying here, both for one night this year and for several nights three years ago. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and the staff are lovely to deal with. Highly recommend!
