The Latch Inn

For the Nourish™️ for Couples retreat I facilitate, I booked the entire venue, and it was just right for our weekend. The cozy living room, charming and interesting decor, good food, helpful staff, and location all worked beautifully. The owners are lovely and easy to work with, and I'll book again. For our anniversary staycation, we chose the Latch Inn im Sidney and had a great time. The inn sits in a cul-de-sac, which gives it privacy, and the seaside outlook adds to its charm. We stayed in the Library Suite with our month-old baby, and it worked well for us. Amit, the manager, was accommodating and helped my husband carry all the things we had brought for the baby. Breakfast is meant to be served in the dining area, but they kindly brought it to our room so we could look after our little one. The food was sumptuous. A great place to stay.

The staff were so kind, friendly, and attentive, which helped make our stay perfect. We loved the Library Suite, with its luxurious feel, generous space, and everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable, and we could step straight into the gardens. Breakfast was included, and the dining area was beautiful. I'd love to return if I get the chance.

The breakfast was fantastic, and our host was warm and friendly. We stayed as a couple last week while visiting Butchart Gardens for the Christmas Lights, and the booking and check-in were easy. This quiet place is a beautiful old mansion built in 1926. From park benches across the driveway, you can see the ocean, and there's also a view of the Marina behind. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with an immaculate washroom. We didn't use the mini fridge or TV. There are two floors, each with a large, comfortable sitting area outside the rooms. We'll recommend it to friends and plan to return when we visit Victoria, which we do at least once a year from up Island. What a find!
