Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto Markham

The gym looked like one of the nicer hotel gyms I’ve seen in a long time, and it’s open 24/7. But on several visits it seemed unsupervised and poorly maintained: kids were in there, garbage like pop cans, water bottles, and food was on the floor, equipment was left scattered around, and I saw loose or broken pieces that seemed like a safety concern. It was surprising that security watched the social areas in the evening while the fitness center didn’t seem to get the same attention. Even with those issues, I’d consider staying again. The hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained, the staff were friendly, check-in and check-out were smooth, and the location was convenient for events and tournaments. Having a Starbucks and Boston Pizza on site was handy. The Boston Pizza experience didn’t match that convenience. Several families in our group waited about 30 minutes just for drinks, then longer to place food orders, and some left before being served. Takeout and delivery apps seemed faster than eating in. I ordered chicken tacos to go and had a minor issue with one staff interaction, but another employee stepped in and sorted it out.

From the parking lot through to the rooms, the hotel looks beautiful. Even the late night snack and gym were great, and everything felt just right. The staff welcomed me so warmly, like I was their only customer. 😁

It was quiet and very clean, with a full renovation and a location near the main highways. The front desk staff were kind and accommodating. I’d gladly recommend it and will definitely come back.

The location was central and convenient without being noisy, and the facilities were practical, clean, and well maintained. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and nicely prepared. My room felt modern and spotless, with thoughtful details, quality amenities, a very comfortable bed, and excellent soundproofing. The service made the whole stay easy. Check-in was smooth and professional, and the staff were attentive, efficient, and welcoming without intruding. They consistently went above and beyond. I’d absolutely stay again and recommend the hotel.
