I was exhausted when I arrived at the Comfort Inn on Dunlop Drive, and Minnie’s genuine, calming welcome was much appreciated. Check-in was easy, and my room was very clean and comfortable. At checkout this morning, Brittany was helpful with directions to my next stop. Everyone at the Comfort Inn was friendly, courteous, and helpful, which made for a comfortable stay. I’ll definitely stay at this Hotel again when I need a place in St. Catharines.

The service was great, and the staff were polite. It’s a clean place with plenty of parking, and the fridge and microwave came in handy. The rooms are small and could use some TLC and an update. Our TV wouldn’t connect to the internet for the smart apps, and the front desk didn’t know how to fix it, so we were left with basic cable. That wasn’t ideal with kids hoping to watch Netflix. There’s no breakfast or pool at this location.

I’ve stayed in some really bad Comfort Inns, but this one seems pretty good so far. It looks like the owner is putting money into fixing the place up.

They’ve renovated the hotel, and for the price it’s a clean, good place to spend the night. The service I received was good too.

Our room was at the back and quiet, though even the road noise from the parking lot wasn’t intrusive. The attached restaurant seemed popular with locals, which struck me as a good sign, but we didn’t eat there. Everything about the hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room felt fresh and clean, with everything brand new, including a large mini-fridge and microwave, and it offered the “Comfort Inn value.” The air conditioner handled the August heat well. The King bed was great, with several pillow sizes to choose from. Reviews from before the spring 2025 renovation are out of date.
