Avery House Bed & Breakfast

The homemade breakfast was generous and set us up for the day. We were in Stratford for a romantic getaway, and Avery House was just right. The room was very comfortable, and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. I’d highly recommend it.

We liked the country-style dining room, where everyone sat together at one long table and could chat. The breakfast was truly amazing, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The house has plenty of parking at the side and back, and downtown is within walking distance. I’d definitely recommend this place.

John’s deluxe breakfast was delicious, especially with the homemade jam, and we left completely satisfied. The house is beautiful and cozy, and while our room was a little small, it worked perfectly for the two of us. The theatres, shops, river, and restaurants are all within walking distance. John & Amanda are humble, lovely people who made our stay extra special. Thanks for the warm hospitality. My husband and I will certainly visit again ❤️

The morning brunch in the main space was incredible, with fresh fruit, vegetables, pastries, and food that was mostly local. John even told us where to find the best local farmers markets. Amanda and the hosts made our trip and my sister’s wedding unforgettable and comfortable. I stayed with my sister the night before her wedding, and check-in gave us a chance to get to know Amanda. We got ready in the loft the next day, where they brought us a lovely breakfast for convenience and made her special da incredibly lovely and smooth. After the wedding, I stayed in the loft with my partner, and it had been thoroughly cleaned and reset for us.
