Edison's Inn and The Perth County Inn - 2 Beautiful Boutique Inns on the Same Block

The location was perfect for getting around, and the staff were accommodating. We appreciated being able to check in early and having a parking space. The hospitality was appreciated, but cleanliness kept this from being a five-star stay. The floor hadn’t been vacuumed, and for the price, things like watered-down soap and broken fridge doors felt like small corners being cut. Just a few suggestions for future guests.

The decor has a fun retro feel, and there’s a nearby parking spot. We could hear some Main Street traffic from the Edison Room, which is what you’d expect. It’s a terrific location for walking downtown, with the park right behind, and the communication was great. Everything you need is there.

Our overnight theatre visit worked out well here. The boutique-style room was nicely appointed, and the main street, parks, and restaurants are very convenient. The included parking is a five-minute walk away, and Festival Theatre is about a 30-minute stroll.

The people were great, and our room was beautiful and spotless. For a romantic getaway, a fireplace would have added a bit of ambiance, though that’s the only thing I can think of. Thank you, Bruce, and especially Christy, for all your help and for making the stay so enjoyable.
