We got a room for about $135 and it felt like really good value. My son and I were in town for a short event and were comfortable there. There are big trees outside, a couple of interesting restaurants nearby, and the place has a relaxed feel. The staff were friendly too. The bedroom in our suite didn’t have a window, which I didn’t love, but I’d happily stay again at that price. Sure, we could’ve paid $195 plus tax for a chain motel in an industrial park with better carpet and more up-to-date finishes, but I’m over that kind of stay.

Found this place through a booking site while I was in town for a car show, and got a great deal. The room was cozy, with fresh paint and new carpet. The coffee maker was mediocre but worked, and the TV was tucked away, though that wasn’t a deal breaker. Beds were comfortable, but another pillow would’ve been nice. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area.

My family was very disappointed. The room smelled awful, the washroom walls were dirty, and the dishes and microwave were greasy. The TV didn’t work, and when we asked for help, they told us to send a picture instead of fixing it. We asked for a refund so we could stay somewhere else, but they refused. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Stay here if you want your vacation ruined.

The room was dirty, the shower had what looked like rust on the bottom, the bedding was rough and pilled, and the A/C didn’t work. I’d only consider this place for a one-night crash, not a vacation. We stayed after visiting Whistler because it was fairly close to Abbotsford airport. There were some sketchy-looking people outside and in the lobby when we arrived, and I wondered if it might be a place for ladies of the night. The only visitor parking was at the front, so we had to park behind the hotel. Check-in and customer service were okay, nothing especially good or bad. The amount of camera footage at the desk seemed kind of crazy and made me feel watched, especially since it’s Surrey. They also charge a $200 deposit, which felt excessive when most hotels charge $100.

The hotel left us extremely disappointed, and we wouldn’t recommend it for decent families. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows thin, old, and heavily used, and the carpet was old and smelly. The coffee maker was outdated and the air conditioning didn’t work properly. We had booked four days, but tried to check out early because of the poor conditions. The manager wouldn’t accommodate us, and the night-shift front desk attendant seemed helpless and unaware. Please don’t come here if you don’t want your vacation ruined.
