The house’s history gives the stay a distinctive 19th-century estate feel, but the upper unit has modern updates too. It was well maintained, with rustic charm and 21st-century features. A great base for exploring New Brunswick.

There’s plenty of room here, and the kitchen is great for making food. It was clean and comfortable, just what I needed to rest after a long day of sightseeing or travel.
We rent this place every year for gatherings, big or small, and it never disappoints. It’s one of the coziest home-away-from-homes I’ve stayed in, with lots of privacy and amenities. The house is clean and spacious, and the authentic Victorian charm makes this beautiful property feel special. It’s affordable too. Five stars for the best place to stay in Sussex.
The owner was really friendly, and the place has everything you’d need, including a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. There’s about as much space as you’d get in a bloody house, and the prices are excellent. It was great, definitely recommend.
For at least the last 5 years, I’ve stayed in Sussex every December for Christmas and always made sure to book here. The service, pricing, and location are all great. Highly recommend it to anyone.
