Coast Swift Current Hotel

We came for one night and would stay again. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and our king bed was comfortable. The shower worked really well, though the shower and toilet room was a bit tight. We only found out at checkout that the place had been sold out the night before, which surprised us because it had been so quiet.

The location and rooms were great, and I'd stay again because it's pet friendly. But breakfast was awful, so I'd skip it. We paid for it, handed over our tickets, and the staff member went to the back and never came out. The sausage was rotten and there was no other food. At $5, it wasn't worth it, and was worse than most free breakfasts.

The staff made our stay at the Coast Hotel in Swift Current feel genuinely welcoming. We arrived at shift change, so Sonu and Eva were both at the front desk. They noticed on their own that my octogenarian father would be more comfortable in an accessible room, and within five minutes we had keys to a better-located room. He felt like royalty. The breakfast was fresh, tasty, and well prepared. It costs $5 extra and comes buffet-style with a wide variety of food. Nothing Michelin-worthy, but a great start to the day, and I've had much worse meals for more money. Housekeeping took real pride in their work, and one person even went out of her way to find us extra coffee. Everyone, from the desk to the breakfast crew, made an effort that felt sincere. We'd originally booked five nights at Days Inn, but the room there was so bad it could have been a clinical trial for new antibiotics. After checking out after just one night and switching to the Coast Hotel, it felt like a whole different world. Our room was spotless and comfortable.

We were in town for a nearby wedding and had a wonderful stay. Every part of it, from parking to check-in to the room, was better than we expected. The breakfast was substantial, and the coffee was especially good. The staff were all friendly and made sure we had a great visit. I'd absolutely stay here again. Thank you.
